The Monster King

As funded by Patreon members for an inktober project, Gone Fishing 004 tells the story of an old king who decided to use monsters (despite his poor knowledge of them) to win a war against a much larger neighboring kingdom.

It's meant to be a story that humans would tell each other with the little understanding they have of ghosts and monsters in the world of Cosmic Fish.

This version contains concept art and an extra ending that flips the story on its head and changes the dynamic and the narrative.
